Last week, Democratic Presidential Candidate Dennis Kucinich was
notified by NBC that he would not be allowed to participate
in the Democratic Debates broadcast by MSNBC on January 15, 2008.
This was after NBC told him originally he would be allowed
to participate. But last week, they changed the criteria and banned
him from the debate. Kucinich sued NBC. A Nevada judge ruled in
favor of Kucinich, and said NBC had to allow him into the debates.
However, 30 minutes before the debate began, the Nevada Supreme
Court overturned the lower court decision and said NBC could ban
Kucinich from the debates.
Outraged, Kathleen called local NBC affiliate, KUSA in Denver and
talked to Mark Cornetta, the President and General Manager.
